Feb. 12 - For the first time today, the plastic sheeting surrounding a portion of the high school was completely removed to show a burgundy roofing and completed tan and burgundy brick veneer. The building is starting to resemble renderings created more than two years ago. High atop the roofing, invisible to passerbys, is a skylight which allows extra light to flow into the new building. The new roofing also coordinates with exterior window frames. Also inside the building stairs have been poured.

Jan. 29 - If you haven't take a drive past the high school construction project lately, I recommend you do so. The portion that is bricked will be classrooms and to its left crews have started on the gymnasium and auditorium, which are the tallest and thus last areas to be constructed. The cold weather isn't halting anyone as plastic coats holes where windows will be installed and crews continue their work inside. Supposedly, it is so warm inside the buildings that workers are going about their business in short-sleeve T-shirts.
