The Board recognizes the importance of the right of the public to have access to the public records of the district. This includes public financial records. The public has the right under law to inspect and procure copies of the annual audit conducted by the district's accountants, and the audit conducted by the Commonwealth's Auditor General's office, and the annual operating budget. |
Audit
Hosack, Specht, Muetzel & Wood LLP, Certified Public Accountants, 305 Mt. Lebanon Boulevard, Suite 301, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15234-1500, audited the accompanying financial statements of the governmental activities, the business-type activities, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information of Moon Area School District, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania as of and for the year ended June 30, 2009, which collectively comprise Moon Area School District's basic financial statements. These financial statements are the responsibility of Moon Area School District's management.
