AlertNow

The AlertNow Rapid Notification System is an automated calling system used to notify parents and staff members of pertinent information. 

Calls are classified as one of two types:

  • Emergency (lockdowns, evacuations, etc.)
  • Outreach (inclement weather delays, school cancellations, notices of important school information)

The AlertNow system allows for the storage of four phone numbers per student.  The first two phone numbers on the list are considered the outreach/primary phone numbers, typically the home phone numbers.  (A second outreach/primary number has been added for students with a second residence.)  These are the numbers that will be called for all outreach calls, including inclement weather delays and cancellations.

In the case of an emergency, the outreach numbers will be called as well as the additional two emergency numbers.
