Under the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL), boys and girls compete against students from 143 school districts in Allegheny, Butler, Beaver, Westmoreland, Washington and other surrounding counties. Moon Area Tigers locally challenge other student-athletes in the Parkway Conference.
