Activity | Description |
| Adventure/Ski Club | Ski Club plans and enjoys overnight and day trips to various outdoor destinations. |
| Art and Literature Club | Art and Literature Club plans, discusses and publishes specific literary and artistic endeavors. |
| Band, Majorettes and Colorguard | Marching band provides a venue for Moon Area’s talented musicians, majorettes and silks to showcase their abilities. |
| Cheerleading | Promotes school spirit and Moon Area sports teams. |
| DECA | Encourage students to develop aptitude in marketing and participate in local, regional, statewide and national activities and competitions. |
| Drama Club | Annual production which teaches students all aspects of stage and theater including acting, choreography, musical/sound elements, techinal support, backstage assistance, publicity, etc. |
French Club | Offers in French language awareness and culture in a wide range of activities outside the classroom. |
| Gay-Straight Alliance | Provides a tolerant forum for students of various sexual orientations to meet, discuss and address issues affecting them and their friends. |
| German Club | Offers in German language awareness and culture in a wide range of activities outside of the classroom. |
| Guitar Club | Supports student efforts to play and perform using the guitar and other stringed instruments. |
| Key Club | Promote volunteer work in MASD and the surrounding communities and collaborate with the local Rotary International organization. |
| MoonBeams | Students write, layout and edit the high school newspaper. |
| Moonwalkers Dance Team | Dancers perform at various school events as well as local, state and national competitions. |

| Spanish Club | Promotes knowledge of the culture of the 22 countries in which Spanish is spoken. |
