Fifth grader Nick Kranyak’s design was selected by the Moon Area Education Foundation (MAEF) board to serve as the organization’s official logo!
The Moon Area Education Foundation (MAEF) held a contest in March to create a logo that encompasses their mission. All Moon Area School District students were invited to submit designs.
One artist from high school, middle school, and elementary levels were considered for final selection.
Brooks fourth grader, Luna Emmerling, and high school senior, Grace Kriger, were selected as runners-up in the contest.
The purpose of the Foundation is to further enhance the District by establishing teacher grants, providing student scholarships, and financing innovative educational projects while working in partnership with MASD, the community, businesses, and charitable benefactors.
