While the campus is now buzzing with activity, the secondary campus is making a buzz of its own.
Middle School Lower House 5th graders are taking part in a brand new STEM activity relating to bees.
In a collaboration with the Tech Ed department and the 5th grade Science curriculum, the science teachers at the Middle School introduced Life Science with this buzzing topic.
Students and teachers discussed topics relating to bees' habitats, niches, and interactions in their ecosystems. After discussing the importance of our area’s native bees and things we can do to help them thrive, the 5th graders took a trip to the Tech Ed shop to cut, drill, sand, and nail bee condos together to provide a protective habitat for many bees to visit.
