Since February, Math 24 Club members grades 5-8 have been working hard to earn a spot at the county-wide competition at Jefferson Hills on April 30, 2018.
Math 24 is a card game where each card has four numbers. Players must use each of the numbers once and may add, subtract, multiply, or divide to reach an answer of 24.
The Challenge is a tournament in which tables of three to four students compete against each other to successfully solve the Math 24 cards. Four rounds of play are used, and players switch tables for each round.
Our Middle School competition was held April 23 and the following students represented our school at Jefferson Hills:
8th grade: Mikayla Hribal, Subham Sahoo, Owen Vreeland, Owen Masry
