Round-trip bus transportation is provided for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Bus stops in Moon and Crescent townships have been situated as conveniently as possible; however, they cannot be randomly changed because of the mandatory approval process.
Parents are reminded not to allow children to change buses without written permission from parents and principal approval.
Students should arrive at bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to posted time.
Questions or concerns regarding transportation can be addressed to Sally Currie, transportation coordinator, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 412-264-9440 ext. 1131.

Moon Area School District will be participating in a free, third-party mobile app called SafeStop. SafeStop works in coordination with our bus company, Student Transportation of America (STA). The GPS systems installed in each bus allow the app to track your student’s bus route in real-time. This free app is provided by STA.
McCormick Elementary will be our beta test this May for the 2016-2017 school year. If all goes well, we expect to roll out this service to the entire district for the start of 2017-2018 school year.
We look forward to offering this new feature to the parents and families of Moon Area School District this fall.
