Announcements for Tuesday, March 9, 2010 for day A are as follows:
On Wednesday, March 10th the English Festival participants will be discussing 2 books - True Grit and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
Those 8th grade students who intend to go on the field trip to the Holocaust Museum should turn in their reservation forms to Mr. Farley in room 418 as soon as possible.
The first middle school track practice will be held on Thursday, March 11th from 2:45 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the fieldhouse. Please plan on going outside. If you have any questions see Mr. Bulat in room 414. You must have a physical by March 11th in order to participate.
Any 8th grade girl interested in summer volleyball and trying out for the high school girl's volleyball team next fall there will be a brief meeting in room 102 at the middle school on Wednesday, March 10 right after school. If you can't attend, please contact Coach Ferri at the high school or Coach Shannon at the middle school.
All 8th grade students please turn in your 9th grade scheduling verification sheets to the guidance office by Friday, March 12th.
Seventh grade students: we hope you are working on your creative entry for the Alliance Against Drugs poster contest! Please focus on the big idea, "Truth & Choices!" Be very clear with your pictures and text and remember craftsmanship is extremely important in clearly sharing your idea with your audience. Mrs. Griffin, Miss Wachter and Miss Gasior look forward to seeing your designs and will be glad to help if you need any assistance. Poster entries are due to your advisor base teacher this Friday.
There will be no jazz band this Thursday after school. There will be rehearsal next week.

Parents: Students arriving late to school after 7:45 should be dropped off in the back of the building by the attendance office. There is a buzzer located at the second set of doors which the students should press for entrance into the building.
No student will be permitted to stay after school to use the library unless they have a note from a teacher or parent stating that they may stay after school to use the library.
On page six (6) or our Moon Middle School's agendamate it states:
MATERIAL DROP OFF
If a student request parents/guardians to bring an item to school that was forgotten, he/she is responsible to check in the office for the item. This includes books, papers, forms, homework, instruments, lunches, lunch money, etc. Classes will not be interrupted requesting students to report to the office to obtain such items.
