Your child is required to carry one 3" three-ring binder containing sections for language arts, math, science, and social studies.  A separate notebook(s) may be used for the other subjects.

Please provide your child with pencils, an erasable pen (black or blue), a highlighter, a red pen for editing, colored pencils, two spiral notebooks for math, two pocket folders with fasteners, and adhesive reinforcements.

Your child will need to have access to a dictionary.

Notebook paper will be supplied by the teachers.  If you would like to provide your child with extra notebook paper, please purchase the standard type.  Sixth grade students may not use "college ruled" (narrowly spaced) paper.

Your child is required to carry school appropriate reading material, such as a novel or a magazine.

All textbooks must be covered with non-adhesive material.

Your child is required to carry his or her Agenda Mate at all times.  It is used to record assignments, special reminders, notes between parents and teachers, and as the hall pass.

Please review your child's Agenda Mate daily.

Please sign (in ink) any notes written by teachers.  We will initial your response.

All students must report to class on time and will be seated before the late bell rings.

The students will arrive prepared for class with all necessary materials (books, notebooks, pencils, completed homework, and the Agenda Mate).

Koala students are not permitted to retrieve forgotten items from their lockers during class.

Your child's literature, social studies, science, and math books can be accessed online.
