You are warmly invited to set up a booth at our sixth annual homecoming carnival, which will take place in the upper parking lot at Moon High School on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5:30-8:00 PM directly following the Homecoming parade.
For a $25 donation, you get a 10 X 10 space intermixed with carnival games, informational booths, and food vendors. It's the perfect place to show off your home-based business, side hustle or even advertise your main gig!

This year Allard Elementary participated in a school-wide reading incentive program, called the Reading Club. Each student received a Reading Log and was encouraged to read on his/her free time. As students read books, points were earned.
Middle School 7th grade student Rocco Reilsono's poem won the Moon Garden Club's Poetry Contest. As the winner, his entry was submitted to the state where he earned second place!
Ms. Zajicek shared the poetry contest with her life science students. About 100 students decided to enter a poem in the contest.
Moon Area High School seniors participated in the second annual Parade of the Past on May 19th.
Students returned to their own elementary school to parade through the halls. It's a great opportunity for graduating seniors to catch up with their old elementary school teachers. The graduating seniors also inspired our younger students as they paraded through the halls.
Five Moon Area School District seniors signed their National Letters of Intent this month.

The MASD Board of School Directors voted on the proposed final budget at their May 22, 2023 meeting. The proposed final budget includes a tax increase of 1.111 mills, which raises the district’s millage rate to 23.7856.
