Athletic Update

athletic update

Dear Parents/Guardians of Student Athletes:

Due to the Governor’s updated guidance regarding fans at athletic events, we are now allowed to have spectators at some of our home events.

Unfortunately, with the 250 facility cap on events at the stadium, we will not be able to have fans at home varsity football games. In addition, with the 25 indoor facility cap, we will not be able to have spectators at home or away middle school or varsity volleyball games.  We will be able to have parents/guardians only attend the following home events:

  • JV and middle school football games
  • varsity, JV and middle school boys and girls soccer games
  • middle school and varsity cross country meets
  • JV and varsity tennis matches

Attendance at away events is at the discretion of the visiting school and you will be notified if fans are not allowed at away events.

Two tickets per athlete will be distributed to the parents via the coaches for the soccer and JV/middle school football events held at the stadium.  Other events will not require a ticket.

All athletic event spectators must wear a mask and adhere to social distance at all events.

As you may know, there is legislation that is up for a vote next week that will allow each school to make a decision about the capacity of their venue. If that passes, other schools may relax their rules on opposing fans attending.

Please contact me if you have questions. Thank you so much for your flexibility.
