MAHS Key Club Members Serve Our Community

Key Club

The Moon Area High School Key Club has been busy giving back to our community this year.

The club members volunteer their time and effort to help others and hopefully spread cheer across the community. Moon Key Club members volunteer at the Moon Public Library, Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign (WalMart), the local food pantry, Mooncrest Community Center, West Hills Nursing Home, World Vision, Moonlights, Play it Forward and more!

The club members also make Christmas a little brighter for the residents of West Hills Nursing Home and Mooncrest Community Center. This year, they bought gifts for all of the residents of West Hills Nursing Home. In addition, they provided treats for the staff members to thank them for everything they are doing for the residents this year. They also bought gifts for all of the students who go to the Mooncrest After School Program.

“We have about 100 students in the club this year,” said Jennifer Wilhelm, who is the Key Club Sponsor at MAHS. “They are a very impressive group of students who enjoy making a positive impact on the community. I couldn’t be more proud of them!”

This year, the Key Club Officers are:

  • Nya Holland – President – Grade 12
  • Alayshja Bable – Vice President Grade 11
  • Meagan Robare – Treasurer – Grade 12
  • Laiba Mirza – Secretary – Grade 12
  • Chiara Golomb – Webmaster – Grade 11

Thank you to all of the Key Club members who have worked so hard to serve others. We are very proud to have you as a part of our school community!
