Dear Moon Area School District Community,

March is the National Association for Music Education’s Music in Our Schools month. This has always been an exciting time at Moon Area School District.

Traditionally, we have held our All-District Music Concert in March. This fantastic event features students in grades K-12 from all seven of our schools.

Unfortunately, this year we cannot pack our auditorium with more than 500 student performers, plus a full audience.  But that doesn’t mean we can’t give these talented students the recognition they deserve!

I am excited to invite you our first Virtual All-District Music Concert!

Throughout the month of March, we will be sharing 10 concerts that you can view at any time online. Please keep an eye on our website so you can enjoy these performances as they are shared with our community.

Music education is such an important part of our curriculum at Moon Area School District. I’d like to thank all our music education teachers for the work do to make these virtual concerts possible. I’d also like to recognize all our student performers for their hard work and dedication.

Finally, I’d like to thank all our families and community members for their support of our schools and our music education program!

I hope you enjoy our All-District Music Concerts!
