Moon Area High School College and Career Counselors worked with the College and Career Counselors at South Fayette and Avonworth to create a informational program for families about the college admission process.
Ten admission counselors met with families in small group breakout rooms, where they talked about three fictional college applicants. They walked families through the process of deciding which fictional student they would admit, deny and wait-list.
The counselors were also available to talk to families and answer questions. The virtual setting made it easy for families to participate from the comfort of their home. It also allowed for admission counselors from around the country to join. In addition to local counselors, admission counselors from Purdue, Case Western, Villanova, and Ohio State joined the conversation.
Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation!
