High School STEM Club Visits Bon Meade

STEM Club

The High School STEM Club, under the supervision of Mrs. Tracy Spinelli, recently visited the 2nd grade students at Bon Meade Elementary School.

Students engaged in multiple STEM activities, which included engineering, biology, chemistry, space, and mathematics. During their rotations, students learned how to extract DNA from a strawberry, adhesion, and cohesion viscosity, how catapults work with building a structure, constellations and how stars are created along with math bingo.

It was a captivating morning for 2nd grade students. Thank you to the high school students and Mrs. Spinelli for visiting Bon Meade!
