On Friday, September 7, 2018, Bon Meade Elementary welcomed former Harlem Globetrotter, Cory Rich, to deliver an uplifting message as part of the school's school-wide positive behavior initiative.
Also known as "Corey the Dribbler," his basketball skills were not the only thing that amazed the students and staff at Bon Meade. Mr. Rich delivered a global message of how hard work and owning your actions helped him achieve a life-long goal, while juggling schoolwork and practice.
Through discipline and respect, he was able to accomplish his dream of being a Globetrotter and also became a four-time Guinness World Record holder with his dribbling talents. Although he met many goals, he continues to score big with his message to children all over the country.
Mr. Rich taught Bon Meade students how to become champions and to also be safe, be kind, and own your actions!
