There were many celebrations the week of September 24 for 2018 Homecoming!
Students across the District celebrated themed dress up days concluding with "Extreme Red and White" on Friday, September 28.
The Homecoming Parade and Carnival was held on Thursday, September 27 where numerous sports and organizations marched from Moon Area Middle School to Tiger Stadium for a community pep rally prior to the game.
A carnival with a variety of games and fundraisers took place just outside of the stadium entrance immediately following the parade. Although it rained, the carnival was still a success, especially the dunk tank and pie-in-the-face!
On Friday, September 28, Moon Area High School and Moon Area Middle School teamed up to host a joint, outdoor pep assembly in anticipation of the homecoming game later that evening. The entire stadium was filled with energy with performances by the band, cheerleaders, dance team, and a surprise flashmob from the middle and high school staffs (click here to view on facebook)!
At halftime of the homecoming game against Bethel Park, Amaya Faulkner was announced as the 2018 Homecoming Queen! Although, the football team lost against Bethel Park, Tiger fans celebrated their school spirit all evening.
