McCormick Students Spread Holiday Cheer to Patients of Children's Hospital

Busy Bags 2019

McCormick students in Miss Mastroianni's 1st grade class spread holiday cheer this year in a special way.

With the help of parent volunteers and generous family donations, the class put together "Busy Bags" for kids who have to spend their holiday season in Children's Hospital.

The class took time this week to fill individually fill all of the bags. "Busy Bag" items included coloring books, small readers, building materials, activity pads, stickers, and art supplies just to name a few.

Two students assisted in personally delivering the bags to the hospital and, upon their return, shared the experience with their class.

The 23 bags were filled in hopes to bring smiles and joy to children this holiday season.

Thanks for Choosing Kind, McCormick!
