MASD Sustainability
Our district is experiencing tremendous change in various areas. Due to these changes, it is imperative that our community is informed of the facts that were presented at the town hall meeting as this will impact all residents.
Approximately 30,000 residents in Moon and Crescent Townships will be impacted by every decision. To ensure we are serving our students, families, and all taxpayers, we conducted a demographic study as well as a feasibility study. These resources help ensure the decisions we collaboratively make serve our community for a sustainable future.
On Wednesday, September 27, we presented the findings of several studies to our community at our Town Hall meeting. This meeting was held with the intention of fostering transparency and open dialogue regarding the future of our community and its educational and athletic facilities. I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to attend the meeting.
For those who were unable to attend the town hall meeting, we encourage you to view the recording on MCA-TV. This recording will provide a comprehensive overview of the presentation and subsequent community discussion that took place. You can also view the presentation PowerPoint on our website, however to best understand the context, please view the full recording on MCA-TV.
Please know we are here to serve you – our community members. As such, we are dedicated to making informed decisions that benefit our entire community and its educational future of our children. We urge you to stay informed throughout this process and engage with us as we move forward. Together, we can shape a bright and prosperous future for our schools and our community, while remaining fiscally responsible.
Thank you.
