Please support MASD Food Services and participate in the Free Meals to Go Program.  You are not taking the meals away from someone who needs it more – they are for all children!  You’re helping the District’s Food Service program stay financially afloat.  The USDA is covering the cost of meals through June 2, 2021.

During virtual learning, the Moon Area School District Food Service Department is providing a drive-thru meal service for all child(ren) 18 and under from Moon Township or Crescent Township who resides in the Moon Area School District.

Inclement Weather Delay/Closing Notification Procedure delay_closing

Dear Families:

While Moon Area School District students are learning virtually, we may still have to delay or cancel our transportation services to private schools due to inclement weather. If this happens, we will post an alert on our website. We will also post the information to our local news stations (WPXI, WTAE, KDKA). We will NOT send a call or an email to families. In addition, we will NOT post this information to social media.

When we are operating in our virtual model, we will not cancel virtual classes for MASD students who are learning remotely.

When Moon Area School District students are learning in our hybrid model or learning in person five days a week, we will share delay/closing messages in the following ways:
