On January 1, 2012 all employers within Pennsylvania are required to withhold the local earned income tax from their employee's paychecks. This will eliminate the need for most taxpayers to manually make a quarterly earned income tax payment. Taxpayers who are self-employed or work outside of Pennsylvania will continue making manual quarterly payments.

There is a drop box outside the exterior door to the tax office where payments can be left. Payments left in the drop box will be considered received as of the last date the tax office was open. Payments sent to Jordan Tax Service or the Tax Office via USPS will be considered timely based on the postmark date. Please include a stamped, self-addressed return envelope if you want a receipt returned to you.

For billing address changes please notify the tax office or Jordan Tax Service. Also, be sure to update the address with the Allegheny County Treasurer.
