Ages, Stages, & Early Intervention

For children younger than school-age, early intervention services are provided by two agencies. 

 

For ages birth through age two, programming is provided through the PA Department of Welfare and funding and services are provided by the Alliance for Infants and Toddlers, Inc.

For children who are three years old to the age of beginners for school-age programming, services are provided through the PA Department of Education funding. This preschool program is coordinated through the Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Early Childhood and Family Support Services program, DART.
