Day-to-Day Substitute Positions
Moon Area School District has partnered with Kelly Educational Staffing (KES) to provide day-to-day substitute teachers and substitute nurses.
Minimum Requirements:
PA state clearances, Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training, and TB test results
Teachers:
$135.00/day (Tier 1, Day 1-29)
$150.00/day (Tier 2, Day 30-59)
$165.00/day (Tier 3 (Day 60+)
Active and inactive PA teaching certificates are accepted. If you or someone you know holds a Bachelor’s degree, contact the local Kelly branch to learn more about emergency certification to become a substitute teacher.
Nurses: $27.00/hour
