Focus is the Student Information System at Moon Area School District. Please follow the steps below to create your Parent Portal account. The video below will help walk you through the process.
Steps to Create a Focus Parent/Guardian Account
Your new Focus Parent Portal account will be automatically created using the email address on file. To get started, please follow the steps below.
Google Chrome is Focus's preferred web browser. Other browsers such as Edge, Opera, and Brave may produce errors.

Visit the Parent Portal: Go to our custom district. link: https://moonarea.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/.
- Activate/ Reset Your Password: Click on the red box that says "STEP 1: Create a Focus Parent Portal Account." Enter your registered email address to receive a secure verification link.
- Link Your Student(s): Once you are logged in, you can link your student(s) by clicking "Add a Child." You will need the following information:
- Student's Full Name
- Student's Birthdate
- Student's ID Number (Note: Student ID numbers serve as usernames for district devices. IT is also their lunch code. Most students know this five digit number.)

It is important to note that all future enrollments you might complete for MASD will be done through Focus as well.
