Bon Meade Elementary School Honors Our Veterans!

Bon Meade Elementary students, staff, and families came together to celebrate Veterans Day in a truly special way! 

In the days leading up to the holiday, our halls were filled with pride through our PBIS Wall of Honor, featuring photos of Bon Meade family members who have served in the military. In Miss Teeple’s art classes, students created thank-you cards for local veterans, which were delivered through the VFW.

On Veterans Day, we were honored to welcome veterans and soldiers from the Bon Meade community for our “Adopt a Veteran/Soldier” event. These special guests visited classrooms, shared their stories of service, and spent time learning alongside their children and grandchildren — creating moments of gratitude and connection that our students will never forget. 

Mrs. Seifarth’s 3rd grade music classes performed a concert of patriotic songs for their families, including a touching tribute to the veterans in attendance. Afterward, the PTC hosted a reception to honor our guests and their families. 

It was a wonderful day of learning, gratitude, and pride at Bon Meade!
