Bon Meade's Starbooks Cafe

Mrs. Lauren Quallich, Reading Specialist at Bon Meade Elementary, hosted a special end-of-year celebration for her students featuring a “Sip and Read” book tasting with books across a variety of genres and reading levels. 

Students put their creativity to work by designing their own café drinks through a fun writing activity. The celebration was complete with snacks, drinks, and special gifts to kick off summer reading. 

A special thank you to our local Starbucks for generously donating cups, napkins, bags, and other supplies that helped make this event extra special for our students! 

Through creative experiences like Starbooks Café, Mrs. Quallich strives to make reading both meaningful and fun while inspiring students to become lifelong readers. This event was a wonderful way to celebrate their hard work and growth throughout the year!
