Rock, Paper, Scissors…and Probability!
McCormick fourth graders in Mrs. Kephart’s math class were on an exciting mission to determine the probability of rock, paper, and scissors! Students played 20 rounds of “Rock, Paper, Scissors!” with their classmates and carefully tracked the winning outcome of each round.
Using their results, students created tally tables, bar graphs, and double bar graphs to organize, display, and compare their data. Our students had a wonderful time learning about probability through this fun, hands-on math activity!
