Dual Enrollment Students Reach New Heights

Prior to the end of the school year, Giada Faulk (Class of 2026) completed her first solo flight, while Lillian Barr (Class of 2026) earned her instrument rating. Both Giada and Lillian participated in the dual enrollment partnership between Moon Area High School and Community College of Beaver County while they were in high school.

These impressive accomplishments require tremendous dedication, hard work, and commitment as students balance flight training with academics, extracurricular activities, and all the responsibilities of being a high school student. The aviation dual enrollment program allows students to earn college credits while gaining hands-on flight experience and working toward aviation certifications. 

We are incredibly proud of Giada, Lillian, and all of our students who are reaching new heights through this unique opportunity. The sky is truly the limit!
