MAHS Homecoming Court & Homecoming Activities
The Moon Area High School Homecoming Court has been announced!
This year's Homecoming Court includes senior girls (pictured left to right) Chloe Cunningham, Jayla Brown, Lydia Vandetti, Maddie Molnar, Avery Machusko, and Ava Estright.
The court will be formally presented during halftime at the football game on Friday, October 4th. Join us as our Moon Tigers take on the Peters Township Indians with kickoff starting at 7:00 pm.
MAHS Spirit Week
The Homecoming festivities kick off on Monday, September 30 with Spirit Week at the High School.
Monday, Sept. 30: 412 Day -- Wear your favorite Yinzer gear as we celebrate all things Pittsburgh!
Tuesday, Oct. 1: Totally 80s Day
Wednesday, Oct. 2: Hawaiian Day
Thursday, Oct. 3: Pink Out
* Bring money to buy pink lemonade and breast cancer bracelets at lunches. All money will be donated to support Breast Cancer Awareness!
Friday, Oct. 4: Extreme Red and White Day
High School teachers will be on the lookout for those going above and beyond. Prizes will be awarded at the in-school Pep Rally on Friday for the winners!
Homecoming Carnival
The community festivities begin Thursday night with the Homecoming Parade and Carnival along Tiger Trail starting at 5:30 PM. We warmly invite all community members to come out and support the court and cheer for all our teams as they parade into the Pep Rally. Following the fun in the Stadium, our Homecoming Carnival will be in the upper lot until 8 pm with a ton of food, games, prizes, and so much more.
Students, staff, families and alumni are encouraged to mark their calendars and come out to celebrate with us!
Homecoming Football Game
The Moon Tigers will take on the Peters Township Indians on Friday, October 4th at 7:00 pm. The Homecoming Court will also be announced at halftime.
Homecoming Dance
The celebrations will culminate with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 5 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Check in will begin at 6:30 pm. Tickets had to be pre-purchased. The Prom Parent Committee will have a concession stand open with drinks and snacks available for purchase.
