Moon Area High School Marching Band and String Orchestra Take the Stage at Walt Disney World
The Moon Area High School Marching Band and String Orchestra proudly represented their community during a recent performance tour at Walt Disney World Imagination Campus in Orlando, Florida, held February 19–23, 2026.
The String Orchestra performed for a worldwide audience with an outstanding concert at the Disney Springs Waterside Stage on Friday, February 20. The High School Marching Band wowed crowds as they marched in a packed parade down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom on February 21. In addition to their performances, students enjoyed the warm Florida weather and experienced the world-class attractions at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.
Preparation for this memorable tour began at the start of the 2025–26 school year, with students dedicating countless hours to rehearsals and fundraising.
The Moon Area High School Band and Orchestra extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Moon Area Band Parents Organization, the Moon Area Orchestra Parents Organization, and the Moon and Crescent communities for their continued support, which made this incredible opportunity possible for students.
