Fort Ligonier Educator Brings French and Indian War to Life for 8th Graders

Eighth grade social studies students at the Middle School recently had a special visit from Matt Gault, Director of Education at Fort Ligonier. Mr. Gault presented an engaging lesson on the significance of the French and Indian War in our region’s history.

Students participated in hands-on activities and examined authentic French and Indian War artifacts, making the historical content more tangible and meaningful. The interactive experience helped bring the past to life and deepened students’ understanding of this important era.
