MAMS Students Particiate in District 1 PMEA Singfest
Moon Area Middle School proudly congratulates fifth grade students Gianna Domenico and MJ Reed, along with sixth grade student Evy Gott, for their selection to participate in this year’s Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1 Singfest Festival.
Held at Plum High School on Friday, February 21, this honors event brought together 120 talented young vocalists from surrounding school districts for a day of music-making. Students learned six pieces of music in preparation for the festival, which was directed by guest conductor Dr. Mark A. Boyle from Seton Hill University.
After a full day of rehearsals, the festival concluded with a concert that evening, showcasing the students’ hard work and dedication.
Participation in PMEA Singfest is an honor, recognizing the commitment and talent of young musicians. Moon Area Middle School is thrilled to have these students represent the district and demonstrate their passion for music.
