A Message from Our New Superintendent

Dear Moon Area School District Families,

I am honored to enter the role of Superintendent for the Moon Area School District. Having worked in the district for over 20 years, I am deeply invested in this community and excited to work alongside you to support our students, staff, and schools.

As a district, we are committed to ensuring our students have a safe and supportive learning environment. Additionally, our administrative team and teaching staff will set ambitious academic goals, and together, we will strive to enhance every aspect of our curriculum. We want to provide our students with the tools they need to succeed, both in the classroom and beyond. We will also continue to raise our expectation level for all students, encouraging them to reach their fullest potential.

However, our mission goes beyond academics. We aim to grow a positive culture throughout our community and schools. We want every student, staff member, community member, and family to feel proud to be part of the Moon Area School District. We want a culture where everyone feels valued, and it is understood we all share in the same mindset: to do whatever is best for our students. 

As a proud member of our Moon community, there is nowhere else my wife and I would rather raise our four daughters. This community means the world to us, and we are deeply committed to its success.

As the saying goes, "The bigger the dream, the bigger the risk." We are going to dream big together and support our kids every step of the way.
