Club Hope Recognizes Grief Awareness Day
The High School and Middle School Club Hope was invited to present at The Highmark Caring Place Summit in October. Members of Club Hope shared the activities that they do in honor of our loved ones and how we support grieving students in our schools.
Children's Grief Awareness Day is on Thursday, November 21. The Middle School and High School will participate in honoring and supporting our grieving students.
Club Hope has supported the students at the middle school in various ways. They had a table for The Highmark caring Place poster concert for the entire middle school. They also created a Wall of Support for students on Grief Awareness Day and invited all middle school students to write messages of support. In addition, Madi Patton created a t-shirt for Club Hope.
All students, faculty and staff are invited to wear blue, including jeans, on Thursday, November 21 in honor of Children's Grief Awareness Day. Faculty and staff members have been donating $5 to support Club Hope's future activities.
Club Hope is sponsored by Mrs. Tolliver-Lehman and Mrs. Mattucci. Thank you to everyone for showing their support.
