Focus Parent Portal Update - July 22

Dear Moon Area Families, 

Thank you for your patience as we completed our transition from Skyward to our new Focus Parent Portal. We are excited to share that the initial communication process is now complete, and all families should have received an email with instructions to activate and set up their Focus Parent Portal account. 

We believe Focus will provide an improved experience for our students, families, and staff. This new platform will serve as your one-stop location for important student information throughout the school year.

As you activate your account, please keep the following in mind: 

• If your student is already enrolled in Moon Area School District, you can simply activate your Parent Portal account using the information provided in the email you received earlier this week. Any student not currently enrolled in our school district will also need to complete the Online Application found within the Parent Portal. 

• Before the start of the school year, the Back-to-School Forms packet will be available in the Parent Portal, allowing you to review and update your student's information. 

• As we continue preparing for the new school year, additional information will become available in the portal, including student schedules, homeroom assignments, and transportation (bus) information. 

In the coming weeks, we will share additional information, helpful tips, and updates to familiarize you with the Focus Parent Portal and ensure you are ready for a successful start to the school year.
