Fourth Grade Invited to Participate in MAHS Fall Show

Dear MASD Fourth Grade Parents/Guardians,

The Moon Area High School Theatre Department is excited to present "Descendants: The Musical" as their fall show and would like to extend the opportunity to participate in the production to any interested fourth grade students in the district!

What participation will entail:

• Students who choose to participate will learn and perform in two musical numbers in the show.
• Performances are Nov. 13-16:
  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
  • Sunday at 2 p.m.
• Students will be added into rehearsals starting either the week of Oct. 19 or the week of Oct. 26.
• In order to be a part of the production, students must be able to attend mandatory rehearsals, which will be Sunday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday, Nov. 12.
• Students will be split into two casts, so approximately half will perform in the Thursday and Saturday performances, and the other half will perform in the Friday and Sunday performances.
  • Performance days will be determined by production staff; requests for particular performance days will not be accepted. 
• There is a $45 participation fee per student and includes a T-shirt and a DVD of a performance.

There will be a meeting for all interested students and parent(s)/guardian(s) on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. More details about the meeting, including location, will be communicated to those who complete the sign-up form.
