MAMS Students Show Support for Children’s Grief Awareness Day

Moon Area Middle School students and staff came together on November 20 to recognize Children’s Grief Awareness Day with a meaningful display of support and compassion.

Students created visual messages of love, hope, and encouragement, which were hung throughout the school hallways to remind anyone experiencing grief that they are not alone.

Staff and students also showed their solidarity by wearing Highmark Caring Place “Champion of Hope” t-shirts and blue attire in honor of the day.

The activities provided a powerful opportunity for the school community to come together, raise awareness, and support those navigating difficult emotions.
