MASD Announces new Director of Pupil Services
Moon Area School District is pleased to announce that Ashley Beeson will transition to her new role as the new Director of Pupil Services starting July 1st, 2023.
Mrs. Beeson has been with Moon Area School District for 10 years. Her first role with the Tigers was in 2013 as the MAHS Assistant Principal before she transitioned to the Elementary Principal role; first with Allard Elementary and then with Bon Meade Elementary. She served as the Bon Meade Elementary Principal for eight years before being promoted to her current role as Director of Pupil Services.
“I look forward to continuing the state-of-the-art programming that has been created and is known throughout the tri-state area. My goal is to help foster and cultivate a school climate that encourages all students to succeed, grow, and develop within their school career,” said Mrs. Beeson. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my role as Principal. The impact and memories working with the most phenomenal students, staff, and families will be irreplaceable. I look forward to my new role and the continued partnership with our school community.”
Mrs. Beeson earned her Bachelor of Science from Clarion University, obtaining licenses in Early Childhood Education N-4 and Special Education N-12. She also earned her Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University where she earned her Level II license in Educational Leadership K-12.
