MASD Welcomes Mrs. Christina Frazier 

Moon Area School District is pleased to announce that Mrs. Christina Frazier has been appointed the district's new Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Frazier brings extensive experience in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavior interventions and Supports (PBIS), along with a strong alignment to the district’s vision and goals. 

Before joining Moon Area, Mrs. Frazier served as the Training and Consultation Coordinator for MTSS at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. In this role, she provided coaching, mentoring, and consultation to district leaders, educators, and stakeholders across 42 school districts and charter schools in Allegheny County. She collaborated with teams to identify areas for growth and delivered data-driven recommendations that enhanced leadership effectiveness and improved student outcomes. 

Mrs. Frazier has also held multiple roles throughout her career, including Middle School Language Arts Teacher, Literacy Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal at Propel Charter Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lock Haven University, an Elementary Education Instructional I Certificate and master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh, a K-12 Principal Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is currently working toward her Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Penn West.
