Moon Area Fourth Graders Explore Healthy Living with Dr. Zona

Dr. Elizabeth Zona, an anesthesiologist and addiction medicine physician, has been visiting Moon Area elementary schools to present to fourth-grade students on healthy living and lifestyle choices. She is joined by Moon Area High School students Aubrey Marasco, Melina Toliver, and Gabby Gallagher.

During the assemblies, Dr. Zona and co-presenter Aubrey Marasco discussed the importance of making healthy choices and how caring for the body helps all its systems work together to support a long, healthy life. The presentations encourage students to think critically about everyday decisions that contribute to overall wellness.

These assemblies are part of the Moon Area Student Assistance Program, which promotes healthy lifestyles and positive decision-making among students. Dr. Zona’s programs are supported by the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association Foundation.
