Phishing Email Appears to be from MASD

Good morning, 

We have been made aware of a phishing email circulating with the subject line “confirm your account verification” that appears to come from the external email address DOIT@MASD <esquilhaabdel@gmail.com>. 

If you received this message, please do not click on any links, download attachments, or respond to the sender. This email is fraudulent. We are not requesting account verification for any Moon Area School District related accounts.  

Our technology department is investigating. We will reach out if we have any updated information related to this phishing attempt.  

In the meantime, if you did click on a link or enter any information, the best practice is to reset your password on the email account and add two step verification, if it is not already active on that account.
