Thank you for a wonderful school year

Dear Moon Area Families,

As we close another school year, I want to take a moment to thank all of you for your continued support, partnership, and commitment to our schools and students. It has truly been an incredible year across the Moon Area School District.

Throughout the year, we have watched our students grow academically, socially, athletically, artistically, and personally at every level. From our youngest learners in elementary school to our graduating seniors preparing for their next chapter, our students have continued to make us proud through their hard work, resilience, kindness, and accomplishments.

This year brought tremendous success across our district. Our students excelled in the classroom, on the stage, in competitions, in community service, and in athletics. Just as importantly, we saw tremendous growth in confidence, leadership, and character in so many of our students each and every day. These successes are only possible because of the dedication of our teachers, support staff, administrators, families, and community working together for our students.

To the Class of 2026, congratulations on your graduation! We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished during your time at Moon Area. You have represented our district with pride, determination, and excellence, and we are excited to see all that you will accomplish in the future. As you begin this next chapter, know that you will always be a part of the Moon Area family. We wish you the very best of luck and success in whatever path you choose.

As summer begins, I encourage everyone to take time to relax, recharge, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the well-deserved break. We look forward to welcoming our students back in the fall ready for another great year together.
