Women in STEM Fair at Bon Meade

Women in STEM Fair at Bon Meade
Members of the Women in STEM Club recently traveled to Bon Meade Elementary School for their annual Women in STEM Fair.

High school female students led five engaging, hands-on activities for second graders. The young learners extracted strawberry DNA, analyzed fingerprints like forensic scientists, engineered towers, explored chemistry concepts with the “scared pepper” experiment, and discovered pH color changes using butterfly pea tea.

The event provided a fun and interactive day of learning for all involved while inspiring curiosity and interest in STEM at an early age.
