Remote Learning

The Moon Area School District is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to utilize an alternative instructional approach if certain circumstances arise. This alternative method is known as Remote Learning. 

The District may use remote learning instead of in-person classes for several reasons, such as severe weather conditions. It's important to note that using remote learning does not change the school calendar, as each of these days counts as a regular school day.

Remote Learning Schedule

Should MASD implement a Remote Learning Day, students will follow a two hour delay schedule. 

High School students should log in to their first period class on Microsoft Teams at 9:30 am.
